ONE CRAZY NIGHT by The Urban Griot (Omar Tyree)

One Crazy Night One Crazy NightWestern Pennsylvania in the 1990s is not exactly a popular place for young black people to take up residence. In fact, when Yvette Sims moves there to take a job with a marketing firm, she sees it only as a temporary stop on her way to bigger and better things. Until the day comes that she can find a job in New York or Los Angeles, she struggles to cope as one of the few black people living in this region. High on her list of complaints is the lack of eligible brothers.

Hoping to solve that problem, she invites Clyde Davis, a former boyfriend from college, to spend a week with her. Unfortunately, Yvette is quickly reminded that Clyde is far from the perfect man, and his arrogance is getting on her nerves. Sparks fly between them, but not always in a good way.

Things go from bad to worse when Clyde’s car collides with a deer, and the couple is stranded in a remote wooded area after dark. Thinking that the truck full of men that has stopped is there to rescue them, they soon realize they have in fact become the target of a gang of white supremacists. There only choice is to run deeper into the woods, and a terrifying chase ensues. Yvette and Clyde will have to find a way to overcome their differences if they hope to make it out of this nightmare alive.
